Vigilance
The Vigilance Wing of the Ministry coordinates and supervises the vigilance activities within the Ministry as well as the PSUs and autonomous bodies under its administrative control. The Wing is headed by the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the rank of Special Secretary appointed with the approval of Chief Vigilance Commission (CVC).

Economic Advisory
Economic Advisory Section (EAS) under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MOPSW) is headed by Senior Economic Advisor.
The section look after the works related to; -
Coordination
The Coordination Division handles overall coordination and monitoring relating to references from the President's Secretariat, Vice President's Sectt., Cabinet Secretariat, PMO, other Ministries and Organizations. It compiles and prepares Monthly DO letter from the Secretary (PSW) to the Cabinet Secretary. It is responsible for coordination of sector reviews of MoPSW by the Hon'ble Prime Minister/PMO/Cabinet Secretariat/NITI Aayog, monitoring PM Infra Targets/KPIs status for NITI Aayog, and tracking action points from PM sector review meetings for NITI Aayog.
