The Coordination Division handles overall coordination and monitoring relating to references from the President's Secretariat, Vice President's Sectt., Cabinet Secretariat, PMO, other Ministries and Organizations. It compiles and prepares Monthly DO letter from the Secretary (PSW) to the Cabinet Secretary. It is responsible for coordination of sector reviews of MoPSW by the Hon'ble Prime Minister/PMO/Cabinet Secretariat/NITI Aayog, monitoring PM Infra Targets/KPIs status for NITI Aayog, and tracking action points from PM sector review meetings for NITI Aayog. The wing coordinates the Senior Officers Meeting (SOM)/VC with HoDs and organizes the Chintan Shivir of the Ministry.
Key action points concerning MoPSW are monitored on the PM Ref Portal of PMO, PRAGATI Portal of PMO, and the e-Samiksha Portals of the Cabinet Secretariat and DEA. Coordination handles parliamentary matters such as issues likely to be raised in the Parliament Sessions, Parliamentary Committee Reports, and coordination for inputs on Parliament Questions of other Ministries, collection and preparation of material for speech of the Hon’ble President’s address to both Houses of Parliament, the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Independence Day, and the Hon’ble Finance Minister’s Budget Session. Additionally, the wing monitors VIP references, deals with references from other Ministries/Departments seeking comments/inputs of MoPSW on Draft Cabinet Note (DCN)/ Standing Finance Committee (SFC)/ Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC)/ Public Investment Board (PIB)/ Delegated Investment Board (DIB)/ Concept Note/Policy related matters of other Ministries/Departments, including Jan Vishwas related matter. It is also entrusted with the collection of material and preparation of the Annual Report of the Ministry, publishing the Year End Review of MoPSW by PIB, and the Annual India Book published by M/oI&B. This Division also handles coordination matter relating to RTI, the CPGRAM portal (Public Grievances), Audit Paras/Audit Para Monitoring System (APMS) portal (CAG/PAC), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan/Special Campaign 5.0/Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters portal, review/monitoring of procurements through GeM and coordination related to Citizen Charter matter along with other coordination issues arising from time to time.
